Berkeley Group/Hersham Tech Park (Planning 2025/2530) was unanimously passed at the Planning Committee meeting on 10/03/2026. All parties have signed an agreement to build a new Dr Surgery on the land behind the Barley Mow. It is understood that it will be built after the first phase (large block facing the Molesey Road) for commercial reasons but before the majority of houses are built. The new entrance on the by-pass will be built as soon as negotiations are completed. There are conditions that cleverly state if the doctor’s surgery does not materialise the entire planning application fails.
This is positive news, there is no 100% guarantee but the best chance we’ve had for a new surgery.
